About InfoLobby

InfoLobby is business software that bends instead of breaks. Most tools make you shape your process around the software. We think that is backwards, so we built a platform that adapts to how a business already works, and keeps adapting as that business changes.

Why we built it

There is a gap in business software. On one side sit enterprise systems that can model almost any process, at enterprise prices and enterprise timelines. On the other sit simple tools that are easy to start with and run out of room the moment your process stops being simple.

Most businesses live in that gap. They do not have enterprise budgets, but their processes are not simple either. They end up with a spreadsheet doing a job it was never meant to do, three subscriptions that each hold part of the answer, and someone in the office who has quietly become the person who keeps it all glued together.

InfoLobby is built for that person. Think of it as LEGO for business processes: tables, views, forms, and automations you assemble into the system you actually need, on top of a real MySQL database you can query, export, and take with you.

Who builds it

InfoLobby is built by Globi Web Solutions, a Canadian software company founded in 1999. InfoLobby itself started in 2022. Everything runs on infrastructure hosted in Canada, which we describe in detail in our security statement.

Before InfoLobby, we spent years making other companies' platforms do things they were never designed to do:

On the Citrix acquisition. Podio announced it on their own blog on 2 May 2017: "Globiflow is now officially part of the Citrix family! Built by Andreas Huttenrauch in 2013, Globiflow uses a combination of new technology and the Podio API to automate business processes."

That history matters for one reason: we learned where the walls are. Every one of those products existed because a platform could not be bent far enough, and we had to work around its limits from the outside. InfoLobby is the same idea built from the ground up instead, so the flexibility is the foundation rather than a bolt-on.

The founder

Andreas Huttenrauch started out as an SAP programmer, which is where he learned not to be afraid of a codebase or a database no matter how large or complicated it is. He then ran a digital agency, and saw the other side of the same problem: most businesses do not have SAP-sized budgets, but their processes are not necessarily simple.

He has spent much of his career in that gap, and built GlobiFlow, GlobiMail and ProcFu along the way. He is on LinkedIn.

What we publish

Articles on this site are published under the InfoLobby name rather than a personal byline, because they are written by several people across the team over time. Where a post makes a factual claim about another platform's limits or pricing, it carries a "Sources checked" section naming where that came from and when it was verified.
