New field types — images, links & multi-select

Another round of field types lands, filling in the gaps that had you reaching for workarounds. The more precisely your fields match your data, the less you fight the tool.

What's new

  • Image fields — store images that display inline in the grid and on records, so people, products, and places are recognizable at a glance instead of hidden behind a filename.
  • Link fields — hold URLs as real, clickable links out to the sites and resources a record relates to.
  • Multi-user fields — assign several people to one record, for shared ownership, review panels, or project teams.
  • Multi-lookup fields — relate a record to many records in another table, not just one, for true many-to-many relationships.
  • Resizable columns — size grid columns to your content so wide notes and short codes each get the room they need.

Why it matters

Real relationships are rarely one-to-one, and real records are rarely all text. These types let you represent "this project has three owners" or "this article links to these five sources" directly, instead of cramming it into a comma-separated cell that nothing else can read.
