Notifications only help if you see them. Until now that meant having InfoLobby open in a tab. This release sends them to you wherever you are, with browser push notifications.
What's new
- Beyond the tab — get alerted even when InfoLobby is closed, so time-sensitive updates reach you instead of waiting.
- The things you care about — pushes for @mentions, task assignments, and changes to the records you follow, drawing on the subscriptions system so you only hear about what's relevant.
- Redesigned drawers — a cleaner, easier-to-scan notifications and tasks experience inside the app, with clearer icons and layout.
Why it matters
The whole point of notifications and subscriptions is to let people stop checking and start trusting the system to tell them. Push closes the last gap — an assignment or a mention finds you promptly rather than sitting unseen — while still respecting what you've chosen to follow, so it's timely without being noisy.
