Do I need my own database to use InfoLobby?

No. Every plan includes a managed MySQL database and S3 file storage. If you need more capacity later, you can connect your own MySQL server or S3 storage as an upgrade path.

Can I set up a simple internal database app without hiring a developer?

Yes. InfoLobby is designed so you can build apps yourself with clicks, not code. Drag-and-drop fields, visual automation builder, and web forms are all included.

Plans & Pricing

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new account gets a 14-day free trial with Starter plan limits. No credit card required.

What happens when my trial ends?

Your account becomes read-only until you choose a plan. Your data stays safe and accessible — nothing gets deleted.

Why is InfoLobby cheaper than Airtable or Monday?

No per-seat fees. InfoLobby charges one flat monthly rate regardless of team size. Most teams save $50-200/month compared to per-user SaaS tools.

Can I change plans later?

Anytime. Upgrade or downgrade in your account settings. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

Data & Limits

What counts toward my record limit?

Only records in your managed database count. If you connect your own MySQL server, those records have no limits.

What counts toward my storage limit?

Only files in your managed S3 storage. If you connect your own S3 or FTP storage, those files have no limits.

What if I hit a limit?

You can upgrade your plan for higher limits, or connect your own MySQL/S3 for unlimited capacity. Your existing data stays intact either way.

User Access & Permissions

Can I invite my team and give them different levels of access?

Yes. Workspaces support Admin, Read/Write, and Read-Only roles so everyone has exactly the access they need.

How many users can I have?

Unlimited, on every plan. No per-seat fees.

Can I share access to specific tables without giving away the whole database?

Yes. You decide which tables appear in each workspace and who has access to them.

Data Ownership

Can I access my database directly?

Yes. Your managed database is standard MySQL. You can connect to it with any MySQL client, run queries directly, or export anytime.

What happens if I cancel?

Your data stays in standard MySQL. Download it, connect to it directly, or use any MySQL tool. We never hold your data hostage.

Can I bring my own infrastructure?

Yes. Connect your own MySQL server, S3 storage, or FTP at any time. Mix managed and self-hosted as needed.
